    Corporation Finance is a required introductory finance course for business majors at the University of Northern Iowa.   
Course Goals and Objectives:
  1. Gain familiarity with the financial environment of business and the various sources and uses of funding for the firm.
  2. To learn the basic concepts of the time value of money, and how to value financial instruments.
  3. To understand and appreciate the concepts of risk and return as it relates to individual and corporate decision making.
  4. To learn the basics of capital budgeting, cash budgeting and how to evaluate business projects.
  5. To learn about the ethical issues facing business and an appreciation of the framework for making ethical decisions.
  6. To understand the multinational and international financial environment.
