I write about digital archiving, the creative commons, public memory, media literacy pedagogy, and critical literacy. My research compliments my creative work, and I have published numerous articles in the scholarly publications Library Trends, Visual Communication Quarterly, and Reading Research Quarterly, and Review of Educational Research, and authored Wrong Turn on the Information Superhighway: Education and the Commercialization of the Internet, New York: Columbia University Teachers College Press (2004). I am certified in the Creative Commons.
