**900:191 - Field Experience: Teaching Social Studies (co-requisite: 900:190) - 1 hour
** 900:190 and 900:191 may only be taken the semester before you are scheduled to student teach!

960:010- Introduction to the Study of History - 3 hours
AND co-requisite 960:011- Field Experience: Public History - 1 hour
(these courses must be taken immediately after the major is declared)
961:014- United States History to 1877 - 3 hours
961:015- United States History Since 1877 - 3 hours
(014 and 015 must be taken by the end of the sophomore year)
960:192- Junior-Senior Seminar - 3 hours


*All History majors must successfully complete 680:021, 680:022, and 680:023. Not all transferred Humanities courses that meet Liberal Arts Core requirements also fulfill the History requirement. Transfer students must check with their advisor to be sure the requirement for 680:021, 680:022, and 680:023 has been met.
