Cave 4 at Qumran, Israel, by the Dead Sea. The majority of the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in this cave.The cave contained approximately 580 different manuscripts, preserved in many thousands of fragments.

• Biblical Archaeology Society: Dead Sea Scrolls Page (This site contains many articles and photos dealing with the Dead Sea Scrolls and thier discovery.)
• Biblical Archaeology Society (Publisher of Biblical Archaeology Review and Bible Review. You can find these two magazines in our library. This site frequently contains links to articles on the Scrolls.)
• Virtual Qumran Project (Recreation of the archaeological site of Qumran.)
• Project on Ancient Cultural Engagement (Complete text of Josephus' writings and links to many photos and articles on the Dead Sea Scrolls and related topics.)
