You have had the opportunity to present yourself using whatever means you felt was appropriate.  You probably did a wonderful job of presenting your information, but was it enough?  If you were to review your presentation, would you agree that you presented everything that you are in the best light possible?

Here is your opportunity to review what you did and reflect upon whether or not you can spot things about yourself that you would have liked to have included or done differently.

Your assignment is to review the videotape of your presentation and then respond to it using the prompt questions below:

What:

  • What were the personal characteristics/skills/behaviors that you were trying to present ?
  • What did you do to present them?
  • What sorts of media did you use to present this?

So What:

  • How do you feel that you did in presenting these qualities to the your audience?
  • Were they effective?
  • How do you know whether or not they were effective?

Now What:

  • Having watched your presentation, what other information would you include if you were to do it again.
  • How would you have done your introduction presentation differently if you were to do it again?
  • Explain the emotional/informational effect you believe each of these changes would make
  • Briefly describe the best way that a person could present themselves to others in a presentation such as this.
