Book Report 4 – on the day of the MIDTERM and FINAL Exam

Your criticism of the book is very important.  Tell me why you liked the book.  Be specific

 1. What is the title of your book?            

2. Who is the author?                   

3. In what time did the book take place? Does it happen in modern times or is the book historical? Does the author use cultural and political events of the time in the book?  How?  Give examples.

4. What are the three most important events in the entire book?   Why were they important for the way the story ended?

5. Who was your favorite major character of the book?  Describe this person in detail.  Introduce him/her as if I (the instructor) had never read the book.  Briefly describe the other important characters in the book.

6. Would you recommend this book to your classmates?  Why or why not?

7. Go to the Internet and find some information about the book you read.  Please print and attach the articles to this paper.  Find 1 easy article

8 . Use your favorite “search engine.”  My favorite is Google (www.google.com).

9.  What did the articles say about your book?  Write a short summary of each article by writing one paragraph for each article.
