Instructions:  Answer the questions completely and carefully.  You will need to write several paragraphs.  Single sentence answers are NOT acceptable. 

Book Report 1 –

Read the first few chapters of your book.  Make sure that you read in small sections.  Don’t try to read a lot of material in a small amount of time.  To refresh your memory, take notes while you read, it will help you remember the main points and it will help you say awake.

 A:  List four characters that you have read about so far and describe them.  Are they smart, handsome, pretty, intelligent, brave, cowardly, evil, good?  Tell me some good (positive) and bad (negative) aspects of the characters and explain their part in the story.

B: Describe three important things that have taken place in your book. 

C:  What are your feelings about the book?  Do you like this book so far?  Do you want to continue reading it?  Why?  Why not? Give me detailed information and reasons. If you are using the dictionary too much, you may have to choose a new book.   If you absolutely do not like this book, you should change books now before you put too much time and energy into it.

D: Write down 20 new words you have learned from this book. Include the phrase from the book, the meaning of the word and a sentence of your own.
