Book Report 4 – due on the day of the Final Exam 

Your criticism of the book is very important.  Tell me why you liked the book.  Be specific

1. What is the title of your book?  
2. Who is the author?  Find some information about the author.  Tell me about the author in 1 short paragraph (5 sentences). You can use the Internet to find information.  Maybe this link  or this other link will help you.                 
3. In what time did the book take place? Does it happen in modern times or is the book historical? Does the author use cultural and political events of the time in the book?  How?  Give examples.
4. What are the three most important events in the entire book?   Why were they important for the way the story ended?
5. Who was your favorite major character of the book?  Describe this person is detail.  Introduce him/her as if I (Tom) had never read the book.  Briefly describe the other important characters in the book.
6. Would you recommend this book to your classmates?  Why or why not?
7. Go to the Internet and find some information about the book you read.  Please print and attach the articles to this paper.  Find 3 articles
8 . Use your favorite “search engine.”  My favorite is AltaVista (http://www.av.com)
9.  What did the articles say about your book?  Write a short summary of the most interesting article. (write two or three paragraphs)
10. Do you agree with these articles?  Yes or No?  Why?
