My wife Liz and I were married in November, 1969. We have one son, Todd. Todd and his wife Karrie live in Ankeny and have a 3 year old daughter Aliza.

I worked for Danfoss Power Solutions as a Model Shop Technician for 42 years retiring in June, 2014. I also spent 21 years in the Army National Guard retiring in 1989.

Liz retired from Iowa State University in October, 2014 after 29 years of service. She was employed at the Department of Veterinary Microbiology as the graduate secretary.

We still reside in rural Boone.
