Life History: Graduated from Boone Junior College. Married Jay Bancroft in 1970. Accompanied Jay while he was in the Air Force to Arkansas, Guam, and Alabama. Our son was born on Guam. Following the service, Jay became employed with Iowa Public Television. We lived in Oakland, Iowa, briefly before moving to Humboldt in 1976. Our daughter was born the following spring. Attended Buena Vista College and began work at Hertz Farm Management. Graduated from college in 1984 with a degree in accounting. Just celebrated 20 year anniversary with Hertz Farm Management. Have made several trips to Guam since leaving there in the 1970's. Jay and I enjoy big band dancing, entertaining family and friends, and garage sales. We attend Oak Hill Baptist church in Humboldt.
