Update 2022:

I retired from over-the-road trucking.

I am living with Marlene Scarlett on an acreage near Maxwell, IA. We deliver travel trailers nationwide. We also enjoy riding trails in different states, hauling our own horses.

We love to travel. We enjoy seeing kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. We are very much involved with the Pony Express Riders of Iowa, raising money for Easterseals Camp Sunnyside, and I was the Volunteer Of The Year in 2017.

I help Marlene with the Horse Program at Easterseals Camp Sunnyside, giving horseback rides to all campers with and without disabilities. I retired from 20 years competing in the Wild Horse Race at the Dayton, IA rodeo, and for the past 25 years have continued to serve as chute boss for that same event.
