Update 2012:

I worked for almost 38 years for the County (which is under Washington State retirement), so my lucky day was when I was hired (and they didn't think I would stay, actually neither did i!). When I saw 62 in sight, I thought my social security can pay that medical premium, and state retirement is pretty darn good. I love it. After we retired (both of us), we left for England, Scotland and Ireland for almost three weeks, then to California to see my Sister for 10 days, then went with friends in our motorhome to Yellowstone for two weeks (had not been there and always wanted to go), then to Austin, Texas for a week to hear Country music, then left for California and the Rose Bowl parade on December 27th in the motorhome with grandkids. We saw the parade (fantastic, had never seen that either) returned home late in January. We aren't going again until June. Linda Ward's daughter's wedding is in Baltimore, and we are going to party with all of Linda's brothers and sisters.

I have my photography business, which I still love so that keeps me busy also.

Sister Jody and I plan on coming to Iowa whenever the reunion is....we will visit cousins and old friends.
