Update 2022:

Wow, 55 years since graduation, just doesn't seem like it. Of course the mind and body don't always work in sync, mind wants to do EVERYTHING I've always done, and body says "ah, nope" But I have been able to enjoy my love for sports thru my children and now grandchildren. They play a more intense game today, but I would have loved that, my kids say I'm extremely competitive. Don and I have lived on the farm in Boone for almost 50 years and still love it. He is still pastoring at Boone Assembly of God Church and I still go to every grandchild's game I can make it to. 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, who knew grandkids would be so much fun. Don and I LOVE hiking the Ledges while camping. We have vacationed in Florida on the gulf for several years with our youngest daughter and her family. After 40 years of hog farming, and then working for 10 years at BCFM, I love my freedom to go and do as I please. When you have livestock, getting away for any amount of time is rare, but it did allow us to not miss a single activity of our kids. They all graduated from United Community, and when you go to such a small school the kids are involved in EVERYTHING. Well that meant if we did go anywhere, you snuck a week in at the end of the summer. I could start in telling you all about my children's and grandchildren's accomplishments, but I do realize others don't care nearly as much about that as I do. Emoji I hope everyone is able to enjoy this last chapter in your lives, I know some of you are, and staying active is a big part of that. I'm thankful for FB and being able to keep up with everyone and all their senior moments!!! I love seeing how proud everyone is of their grandchildren, oh did I mention how 2 of my granddaughters are terrific softball players for Benton, lol. And how another was on a state basketball team from Roland Story. Ok, Ok, there's so much more that has brought me joy, but I'll spare you all. Have a great time at the 55th class reunion, I'm not able to make it with vacation and State Fair obligations, maybe the 60th, God willing this country is still around. Blessings to all my classmates!

Update 2002:

Children: Michelle, David, Stacy, Jennifer
Grandkids: Shelby, Hannah, Alex, Mikal, Davey, Sarah, Kylie
Life History: Made a few bad decisions, then made the best decision of my life, married Don Beal. Was a stay-at-home mom and helped with our hog farm. Had ups and downs with that as any business can, but loved it and hope to pass the opportunity on to David some day. My husband became a licensed minister with the Assembly of God Denomination last year, so I guess at 52 we’re off on a new adventure. My children continued the legacy of sports, and I had the time of my life following them. Even continued myself until a couple years ago playing softball and bowling. I guess you never lose that competitive spirit. All our kids have married now and for the first time since Don and I have been married, we are alone. Our life is family, children, grandchildren, and church family. Even with a few bumps in the road, I can say I truly have been blessed.
