Hepatica acutiloba

RANUNCULACEAE (Buttercup Family)

This flower is found in the woods in early spring. The "petals" of white, pink, or lavender are really sepals. The leaves are sharply or bluntly pointed, not rounded. The plant refers calcareous soils.
