about me

Usually I’m a “Linux system administrator”, but I do dabble in other topics. I work with networking, telecom, and web servers.

I started my technology adventures in college (late bloomer) as a tech for the campus internet service provider. I dove into the work without any real knowledge (so I fudged it on my interview…). Eventually connecting random Android TVs to our enterprise wireless network was passed on to new student employees and I moved onto desktop support for the residence employees. From there it was really just a progression of Windows imaging, batch scripts, and SCCM until I ended up with a legitimate job — using my B.A. in History to its maximum potential. After drudging through MSP work at a health care provider, I have returned to my alma mater with the best job title: a SYSADMIN.
