Remember:

1. To bring in an image into Photoshop: File/Open

2. unlock your “background” (double click on image layer in the layers panel )

3. Photoshop documents save as a .psd file (Photoshop file)

4. Using the Marquee tool on different layers has different results.

5. Command “D” = DE-SELECT a selection

6. Command “T” = Transform Layer

7. Magic Wand: change the tolerance level in the Magic Wand tool, but typically use the Quick selection tool

8. Magic Eraser is for solid backgrounds only (but what a tool!)

9. Name your layers and organize your layers by pulling layers up and down.

10. Quick Selection tool: Click to ADD more selection, ALT/OPTION to subtract more selection.
