Students at UNI may select a variety of areas for student teaching experiences including urban and non-urban settings in Iowa; out-of-state experiences in Nebraska, Minnesota, New Mexico, and the large base in San Antonio, TX; and international experiences in Japan, Italy, Germany, Australia, South America, Egypt, and a host of other sites.
Price Laboratory School (PLS) is a public K-12 school system affiliated with UNI. Teacher education at UNI plays an integral role within PLS. Connection of theory and practice is strengthened for University students who benefit from field experience activities and student teaching assignments.
