Pat Fier, UNI alum 2009, gave the 2022 Wilson lecture this past week. An entertaining evening of organic chemistry. Surprisingly, I think all the students were still awake at the end of the lecture! Hopefully Pat was able to inspire the next generation of chemists by his talk.

Then Pat was awarded the Young Alumni Award from UNI the following evening. Congratulation again Pat.
