Jarosh-o-nator

Back in the corannulene days we were making stuff on the 100 gram scale. Drying that much solid on the vacuum line would be a problem since the powder would go flying into the vacuum line. Michael Jarosh, my first student, had an idea of having a frit in the adapter, so stuff would not go flying into the vac line. We made a “prototype”. This was back in the 2000s. Michael either emailed or talked with some glass companies at an ACS meeting, but got no response.

Years later, lo and behold, look at the Chemglass catalog.
