You know what they say about paradigms-- shift happens!

With the introduction of the World Wide Web, we see the birth of an entirely new media. During the introduction of any new media, there is a period of flux as old media paradigms compete with new paradigms to determine the shape of the new media. It is important for all of us who create, study, and use the WEB, to be aware of this flux and look beyond our own pet paradigms. The purpose of this site is to explore the various competing and complementary paradigms for WEB publishing. It is my hope that it will trigger further thought and discussion on the subject by other WEB publishers and theorists.
