Famed author talks 'White Rage' at UNI on Jan. 20

UNI will end Martin Luther King Jr. Week activities on Jan. 20 with a presentation by Carol Anderson, author of "White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide." Anderson’s lecture will begin at 7 p.m. in Lang Hall and is free and open to the public.

UNI Gallery of Art to present 'Women as Makers'

The UNI Gallery of Art will present an exhibition titled "Women as Makers," which will be open to the public on the following dates: Jan. 8 – Feb. 27; March 19 – April 14; and April 23 – May 5. Please note: the gallery will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

UNI School of Music to present Opera: Hansel & Gretel

The UNI School of Music will present a winter opera performance of Engelbert Humperdinck’s "Hansel & Gretel." The performances will be held at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 26 and 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 28, in the Great Hall in the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.
