Registration is open for Inclusion Cedar Valley 2018

UNI, the Greater Cedar Valley Alliance & Chamber and several area agencies will present "Engage, Empower, Act: A Cedar Valley Conference on Economic Inclusion" from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12, at the Diamond Event Center in Cedar Falls. Nika White is this year's keynote speaker. The conference is free to the public, and registration is open.

U.S. News & World Report ranks UNI No. 2 among top Midwest public universities

UNI ranked No. 2 in the "Best Regional Universities (Midwest)" category for public universities, according to U.S. News & World Report's "Best Colleges 2019" guidebook. UNI was also ranked No. 25 overall on a combined list of all public and private Midwest regional universities.

UNI Athletics initiative, Elevating Educators, to honor and elevate professional educators

UNI Athletics is partnering with campus on Elevating Educators, a new initiative that seeks to recognize and elevate professional educators in Iowa, nationwide and throughout the world. To kick off the Elevating Educators initiative, UNI is offering all educators who work in a pre-K through 12 school district two free tickets to the UNI vs. Missouri State football game and tailgate set for 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at the UNI-Dome.
